Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance is a third-person action game that was developed by Tuque Games, and published by Wizards of the Coast.
It is a tabletop role-playing game, which is technically a spiritual successor to Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance and Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II.
This game is actually inspired by a Novel series, similar to the novel it also features four different characters, Wulfgar, Catti-brie, Drizzt, Do’Urden, and Bruenor Battlehammer. The players can choose one of these characters and use them throughout their journey in the game.
This game also features single-player and multiplayer modes. However, users are eager to find out whether Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance is cross-platform or not. Well, if you have come here to find answers then keep on reading this post till the end.
This dice-rolling simulator game was originally released for PC and consoles in 2020. However, later on, the release date was altered to June 22, 2021. Here are the supported platforms for D&D: Dark Alliance:
- Microsoft Windows
- PlayStation 4
- PlayStation 5
- Xbox One
- Xbox Series X/S
Is D&D: Dark Alliance Cross Platform?
Since the game supports different multiplayer modes including co-op (in which 4 players play together) that is why fans of D&D: Dark Alliance have high hopes for this game to be cross-platform. Let’s find out if that’s true or not.
Unfortunately, this game is not cross-platform even though it’s almost a year since its release. As there is no cross-platform support, this means that players who use different gaming consoles or platforms will not be able to play with each other. For instance, if you have a PC then you will not be able to interact with your friends who own a PS4 or an Xbox.
However, the good thing is D&D: Dark Alliance supports cross-generational support so that same console users can play together no matter which generation console they own.
Will D&D: Dark Alliance Be Cross Platform in 2022?
Well, right now there are no chances for this game to be cross-platform in 2022. It might happen if the publishers realize how much they are missing out on when it comes to revenue.
